Your Questions, Answered

You don't need to be in crisis to benefit from counselling. Many women come to therapy because they're feeling anxious, overwhelmed, stuck or simply ready to understand themselves more deeply. If something is affecting your wellbeing or you'd like support to navigate a difficult time, counselling can provide a safe space to explore what's going on.

The clarity call is an opportunity for us to get to know one another. You can tell me a little about what's brought you here, ask any questions you have and find out how I work. There's no obligation to book further sessions—it's simply a chance to see whether I feel like the right counsellor for you.

Both approaches offer the same professional counselling support. The difference is the setting.
Traditional counselling takes place either in person or online, while Walk & Talk counselling happens outdoors in the beautiful surroundings of Bath. Some women find that walking side by side in nature helps them feel more relaxed, making it easier to talk and reflect.
-
Not at all. We walk at a gentle pace that feels comfortable for you, and there is no expectation to cover a certain distance. We can slow down, pause or sit whenever you need.
-
Walk & Talk sessions can continue in light rain if you're happy to do so, so bringing suitable clothing is always a good idea. If the weather is unsafe or particularly severe, we'll arrange an alternative, such as meeting online or rescheduling your session.

Yes. Confidentiality is an important part of counselling, and what you share will be treated with respect and care. At our first session, I'll explain the limits of confidentiality so you know exactly what to expect. For Walk & Talk counselling, we'll also agree how we'll respond if we happen to see someone you know while we're out walking.

Yes. Some clients choose Reiki alongside counselling as a complementary way to support relaxation and emotional wellbeing, while others come for Reiki as a standalone treatment. During your clarity call, we can discuss which approach feels most appropriate for your needs.
