Counselling in Bath for Women

A safe, compassionate space to reconnect with yourself

There are times in life when everything can feel overwhelming. You may be experiencing anxiety, navigating a significant life transition, struggling with low self-confidence or finding it difficult to set healthy boundaries. Perhaps you've spent so long caring for everyone else that you've lost sight of yourself.

Whatever has brought you here, you don't have to face it alone.

As a qualified counsellor and registered member of the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS), I offer a warm, compassionate and confidential space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings and experiences without judgement.

Counselling is your time. A space where you can slow down, be heard and begin to understand yourself more deeply. Together, we'll gently explore what's beneath the surface, helping you make sense of difficult emotions, recognise patterns that may no longer be serving you and find a way forward that feels right for you.

My approach is collaborative, person-centred and tailored to your individual needs. I believe that you are the expert in your own life, and my role is to walk alongside you with empathy, curiosity and compassion.

How counselling can help

Everyone's experience is unique, but counselling may help if you're:

  • Living with anxiety or constant overthinking.

  • Feeling overwhelmed by life's demands.

  • Going through a life transition such as divorce, motherhood, menopause, career change or bereavement.

  • Struggling with low self-confidence or self-esteem.

  • Finding it difficult to set healthy boundaries.

  • Feeling emotionally exhausted or disconnected from yourself.

  • Wanting to understand yourself on a deeper level and create positive change.

Together we can work towards helping you:

  • Feel calmer and more emotionally balanced.

  • Understand and manage anxiety.

  • Build self-confidence and self-trust.

  • Develop healthier relationships and boundaries.

  • Navigate change with greater resilience.

  • Gain clarity and confidence in your decisions.

  • Feel more connected to yourself and your values.

What to expect

Beginning counselling can feel like a big step, especially if you've never spoken to a counsellor before.

My aim is to create a space where you feel comfortable enough to be yourself. There is no pressure to have everything figured out or know exactly what to say. We simply begin where you are.

Each session is shaped around your needs, allowing you to explore whatever feels important that day. Some sessions may focus on understanding difficult emotions, while others may help you find practical ways to cope with challenges or support you in making meaningful changes in your life.

There is no right or wrong way to experience counselling. We work at a pace that feels safe and comfortable for you.
